Cool Unable to Render animation using computation device GPU under blender


Hello everyone, i hope you all experimenting well with linux to be keen user,
coing to the point!! few hrs back i'm trying to learn some mind boobling animation with blender.However, was redering with CPU as Cpomputational device, after few googling i knew about GPU rendering and grabbed CUDA toolkit. everything went fine until i rendered using GPU,blender says "LODING KERNELS for first time it may take few minutes" but after waiting 2 hours i was dissapointed alot hence posted here. blender started to feel sluggish, neither single frame was rendered nor processed frames anymore, hence i posted here, any idea buddies? whats wrong?

Please have look at snapshots i've attached

Please help me out for :

1. GPU Rendering ??
because it kernals are taking much more time then expected !!!
- Am i missing on something here?

for the current 2.73a
your 3d screen shot shows that your 3d card is selected
the cuda 6.5 sdk should not be needed
https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-downloads
mind you ONLY a few OS's and versions are supported !!!

the nvidia .run or the propitiatory driver in your package manager will have CUDA support already

the Open Nouveau driver will not

for the SDK after installing
"cd " into the "Cuda/NVIDIA_CUDA-6.5_Samples/" folder and run make
depending on the card some might not build
