Unable to remove vavoom-1.33

While playing with ubuntu I tried to install vavoom-1.33 from its .tar.gz package after reading installation guide on net. It was before one year. But something gone wrong and I was unable to install it or remove it.
There is a folder in my HOME directory named "vavoom-1.33" it really feels me ugly and bad to have this folder in my home directory with a symbol of lock on it. I cant remove it, cant delete it, cant rename it...
Please help me to remove this.
Thank you.

Lots of wrong install guides on the net.

Removing a directory that is not owned by you :
sudo rm -rf vavoom-1.33/

By the way ,,, the right build method for vavoom-1.33 is :
cd vavoom-1.33/ && mkdir build && cd build/ && cmake ../ && make

.
