@fatra2 i myself am owner /tmp...i do have the permissions 2 play all files in it..also videos frm oter sites lik daily motion and metcafe have no problem in running from /tmp..its just the youtube ones..

hey got the fix,there is a firefox add on clip converter,you can find it at www.clipconverter.cc/addon/..install it..you get a conversion option at youtube page...
