full-pathname-of-directory-containing-the-video_TS-file means typing in the location of the video_TS file, which is almost certainly not directly in /home/bren/. It might be somewhere in or below /run/media/bren/. If so, then /run/media/bren/ would be the first part of the full-pathname-of-directory-containing-the-video_TS-file. Another place to look is in /mnt/.
glad it works for you, but for the benefit of others i'd like to add that transcoding most likely is NOT necessary to solve the original problem.
However we were unable to help because you couldn't supply us with even the most rudimentary troubleshooting steps.
