Unable to install K9Copy

Hi,

I am trying to install k9copy 1.0.4-2 and can't get it to install. I am running FC6 x86_64. I have an AMD64 3000+ processor with 512MB memory. When I run ./configure, I get the following output.

Quote:
checking build system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
checking host system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
checking target system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking for -p flag to install... yes
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
checking for style of include used by make... GNU
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cl... no
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See `config.log' for more details.
Does anyone know how I can install this program?

Thanks,

Chris

Hello,

it seems you don't have any compiler installed, as stated in the configuration output.
You need to install gcc. I don't know how the package is named exactly in fedora core, but I'm sure you'll find it in yum.
