Unable to get Adobi Flash Player
 

I have tried many times to download Adobi including Flash player, it's in Downloads but refuses to work. I can't get any videos to work and some downloads. I have been into Terminal so may have messed things up more. I copied something into Terminal but couldn't understand the three questions, it's a mystery!
Any help would be appreciated.
This is Ubuntu 11.10.
I got 11.04 to work, wish I had stuck with it!

The recent Ubuntu 11.10 upgrades seem to have cleared the problem, hurrah!
