Unable to do shutdown


Hi,
Within Rhat, in this mode below, why does nothing happen by this command?

That seems that you have a kernel panic, either you have hardware or driver problems.

Does the second screenshot show the situation after you used "shutdown -P now" as suggested in the first answer? What exactly did you do? As a reminder, in your first screenshot the final line reads:

** the time argument is mandatory! (try "now") **

Yes, I issued

shutdown -P now

within Terminal and then have got this

Try "init 0" in a console as root.
