unable to create directory with anonymous vsftp through web browsers
Hi all:
Running with RHEL4.5 and vsftps 2.0.1 with chroot. Local users & anonymous are enabled.
Have vsftpd config working via command line - the anonymous user can create directories and upload files with no problems. The problem is with anonymous logins using web browsers. Doesn't matter what browser (firefox, IE) is used.
What happens is anonymous login via browser - no problems. The anonymous can move to the /incoming directory and upload files - no problems. The anonymous cannot create directories, the browser complains about "550 Permission Denied" or "Not enough files".
When I do create a directory via command line, the owner is ftp:ftp. I have the chown is the vsftp.conf file set to swsupport:ftp. I would like to have the directory created with swsupport:ftp as well.
Any help is appreaciated!
Thanks
