unable to browse samba share from windows 2003

Hello,
I am having a problem with my windows 2003 server being unable to browse a samba share. The samba is running on a freebsd 5.0 machine and my windows 2000 server connects fine. It simply fails the username/password authentication every time.

My best guess is that for some reason its trying to insert my domain information when it sends the username (i've heard there are problems mounting 2003 server shares from samba). However I am pretty much stuck on this one.

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks,
Kevin

well, windows tries to make it so linux can't talk to it. proprietary bastards. but no doubt the linux gurus at samba will get it down. and they do it for free. ms can't even make their software semi-safe from viruses before releasing it. and some people in their own time are makin gthe best software in the world. and figuring out ms's tricks so if you are not a gamer, drop ms. i have all that ms can do and better, more reliable, more secure etc. all on my linux boxes....servers, workstations, routers, firewalls, etc. sorry for blabbing but ms will lose if they don't learn to work with instead of against linux....matk my words.
