Unable to allocate PCI Ethernet controller. Too many PCI devices already configured.

I tried two different pc's. Both of them is occured error same.
There are two ethernet cards on pc's. (1. Pc : 1 onboard ethernet + 1 pci ethernet card; 2. pc: 2 gigabit ethernet cards).

Thanks.

not sure your problem is persistent.
I encountered the same problem. Refer the following site for vmware PCI devices limitation.

A core file is available in "/media/sda2/Documents and Settings/tirtildim/MyDocuments/My Virtual Machines/Windows XP Professional/core". Please request support and include the contents of the log file and core file.
To collect data to submit to VMware support, select Help > About and click "Collect Support Data". You can also run the "vm-support" script in the Workstation folder directly.
