I installed vmware workstation 6 on ubuntu 7.04 and Pardus 2007.2. It's successfull. But I can't guess os on it. That is error message:

Unable to allocate PCI Ethernet controller. Too many PCI devices already configured.

I tried two different pc's. Both of them is occured error same.
There are two ethernet cards on pc's. (1. Pc : 1 onboard ethernet + 1 pci ethernet card; 2. pc: 2 gigabit ethernet cards).

I founded solve the problem on vmware that about pci etc. The problem is locale language settings : Turkish. There is no problem while run program with konsole by LC_ALL=C vmware command. But, there is an other problem if guest os other disk partition ( ntfs formatted) that message :
VMware Workstation unrecoverable error: (vmx)
Unexpected signal: 11.
A log file is available in "/media/sda2/Documents and Settings/tirtildim/MyDocuments/My Virtual Machines/Windows XP Professional/vmware.log". A core file is available in "/media/sda2/Documents and Settings/tirtildim/MyDocuments/My Virtual Machines/Windows XP Professional/core". Please request support and include the contents of the log file and core file.
To collect data to submit to VMware support, select Help > About and click "Collect Support Data". You can also run the "vm-support" script in the Workstation folder directly.
