umount2 errors on shutdown

I recently added some bind mounts to my fstab to mount part of the file system in another directory (the same as mount --bind /old /new from the mount man page).

Everything works fine as far as the mount is considered. The problem is during the shutdown process.

When RH9 umounts the volumes it is generating some errors.

I presume it is because it probably umounts the real file system disk before umounting the binded file system.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the umount2 errors during the shutdown process?

Thanks.
