Ubuntu uninstall

How to uninstall a software on ubuntu? The software is not supported by canonical. One example is http://www.icpep.org/packet-tracer-on-ubuntu/. Will deleting the files solve the problem?

Yes, but it might be best to delete the config files too if you dont plan on using that software anymore.

Edit: it also depends on your issue...more details might help.
