ubuntu software center

My ubuntu software center isn't working. It's like it has crashed. It happened after I forced my system to shut down before it could complete installation of a certain software. Is there a way I can fix it using the terminal.

Try
Code:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure -a
it will try to finish installing the packages you stopped it installing.
