Ubunru 12.10 "Internal Error" Evolution
 

Updated to Ubuntu 12.10 from 12.04. What started as a once a month error has escalated to every day. Erroe: "Sorry,Ubuntu12.10 has experienced an internal error." The details seem to point to Evolution, which I am not using as an e-mail client. Here is the screen shot. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Looks like no one at LQ has offered comments here. I don't use evolution myself, either.

Have your tried running:

ubuntu-bug evolution

as a prelude to submitting a bug report?

Upgrading from Ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10 seems have been a "disaster". See this video: Best and Worst Linux Distros of 2012. I was getting that message fairly frequently. Recently this error message has become much less frequent. Still quite troublesome from the quality control point of view.

I've never had an experience like that! But then I've never installed Ubuntu, except very briefly to write a review :D Quality control is not their strong point and never has been. It may not be the answer you want, but my advice is to switch distros. "If at first you don't succeed, try again" but "if you're in a hole, stop digging."
