I have been following this tutorial
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebootstrapChroot
to install a 32-bit chroot in my Ubuntu-14.04-desktop-64bit.
Everything goes fine until I try to use tzselect. Then I get this error:
/
usr/bin/tzselect: line 38: /usr/share/zoneinfo: Is a directory
/usr/bin/tzselect: line 171: /iso3166.tab: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/tzselect: time zone files are not set up correctly
I've googled it and I've found a bug-report:
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/fo...ch/185734.html
So I've tried the workaround described in that bug-report, and I've changed in file /usr/bin/tzselect the TZDIR from pwd to /usr/share/zoneinfo. (I've checked iso3166.tab file is in /usr/share/zoneinfo.)
But I still get the same error for tzselect, even after the change. So I can't go on with my DebootstrapChroot tutorial to create a 32-bit environment in my Ubuntu-64bit to work with 32-bit programs. Does someone know what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you.
