types.h belongs to which package

hai ,

I use ubuntu linux 5.2 and having problems in recompiling the kernel. The message i get is that "/sys/types.h cannot be found, what package should i install to get the compilation going. Is there any workaround to solve the problem.

Please help me !!

I did a locate on '/sys/types.h' and then I used rpm -q -f on the result.
Looks like you need the glibc-devel package. However my system isn't Ubuntu, so your
results may vary.
