Two processes for GAIM

Hi

I noticed last night I had two processes for gaim. When I killed one of them gaim would still run.

So I'd close gaim, try again, same thing. Two gaim processes with different cpu/mem usage. One of them seemed to be consuming less resources than the other.

I repeated this a few more times to make sure it wasn't a fluke, gaim kepted loading two copies of but only needed one, it still seemed to work when I killed the one using less resources.

So today I checked again and gaim is only running one process.

Strange.

gaim : 1.2.1. SuSe 9.1 RPM
SuSe : 9.1 Personal using KDE

I'm actually having a related issue.

When I closedown Gaim, I have to run "killall gaim" for it to shutdown the more than 80 processes all labelled "gaim" (italso hangs on close). Any idea why this may be? I'm running the latest stable release.
