tv-out with Nforce and redhat 9

tv-out with Nforce and redhat 9

I have a Shuttle PC (SN41G2) with an NVidia Nforce chipset, running RedHat 9 with KDE.

I was wondering how to get the TV-Out to work. I have everything else working, but I am clueless on how to get my TV to work with this thing. If I hook up the TV-Out to my TV, and reboot the PC - my TV actually shows the bootup text. However, once the PC enters graphical mode, the TV stops showing things.

I've search all around the web for this, but I keep running into people having other problems (network card, etc). I know of the gatos project, but that is for ATI cards. I'm beginning to wonder if this is an easy thing that I'm looking too much into. Seems no one else has asked this question before.

Any help would be greatly apprieciated. I'd love to get my freevo installation working on my TV!

Are you using the nvidia drivers for the nforce chip? If not, they can be downloaded at the nvidia website. Their README should also give some good hints.
