Turn off PC Speaker output.

I have a pair of headphones hooked up to my Slackware 10 box to spare the rest of the office my music, but I am still getting music out of the PC speaker. It doesn't seem to matter whether I use OSS or ALSA, as they both do it. Is there an easy way to accomplish this? Thanks!

I don't know a software way but you can doit hardware, if you don't need your speaker for something, you can
mute by take it out from your motherboard definately or just place a tape over the little hole from where the sounds come out.
