Turn an Ubuntu LiveCD into an Ubuntu LiveDVD

Hi Guys,
When I was trying to use customize the Ubuntu 7.10 LTS LiveCD both using Reconstructor and manually, I noticed that whenever my customized LiveCD went over the size of a CD, approximately 700 mb, during boot time my LiveCD would drop me to the job control shell, initramfs. I was wondering how I could bypass this problem, and expand the size of the Ubuntu 7.10 LTS LiveCD into a LiveDVD?

If I understand the use of Reconstructor correctly, you had to copy the Ubuntu liveCD to disk in order to customize it, then make an .iso image to burn to cd. But, the image is too large to fit on a cd, so you now have problems.

Make the image for DVD using the growisofs command, then burn it to DVD.

/usr/bin/growisofs -Z /dev/hdc -use-the-force-luke=notray -use-the-force-luke=tty -dvd-compat -speed=6.1 -overburn /home/<your user name>/ path/to/my_new-dvd.iso

where /dev/hdc is your DVD burner.
