To satisfy dependencies, the following packages are going to be installed (6 MB):
autoconf-2.13-19mdk.noarch
binutils-2.14.90.0.5-2mdk.i586
bison-1.875-3mdk.i586
flex-2.5.4a-21mdk.i586
libbinutils2-2.14.90.0.5-2mdk.i586
libtool-1.4.3-7mdk.i586
m4-1.4ppre2-4mdk.i586
zlib1-devel-1.1.4-8mdk.i586

Is this OK?

i press OK... and then it says

Please insert the medium named "Complete Linux Handbook 2 (cdrom1)" on device [/dev/scd0]

and i´ve got a complete handbook DVD but it wants to read it from my cd-rom drive, so i put the dvd in there and nufin works so just wondering what can i do to get gcc installed?

well if that's what it wants, that what it wants.... this is trying to do the install through the urpm system, which i stopped trying to really understand about 3 years ago. I'd suggest just manually installing each one off of the cd if you can't mke it pick up the right location.
