trying to install fedore core 5 on an other comp


I'm installing via ftp and I dont know what to put on


ftp site name_______________________________________


fedora core directory ________________________________





my question to you is what should I write there??


thanks in advance guys...

i think that the fedora core directory is the share name of the remote directory containing the contents of all of the fedora cds.
site name can just be the ip of the machine it is stored on

no that is NOT what I'm talking about..............

I'm trying to install fedora via ftp.............I know I seen a tutorial way back... crap!!!!!!! forgot to bookmark the site.......

yeah i got that but do you not need to have access to an ftp site containing the install files, i.e. what is on the distro cds, in a specific folder on the ftp site, then tell the installer to go to that ftp site and folder, thus the ftp site name can be either the ip address or the name of the machine running the ftp server, and the folder would be the folder in the ftp site containing the files.
so ...
fedora.cat.pdx.edu, for ftp site
/linux/core/5/x86_64/os, for 64bit
/linux/core/5/i386/os, for 32bit
