I need to mount a cdrom to copy some files off of it but theres no cdrom or floppy devices found on my pc. Any idea what i need to do to make trustix see them?

Theres no sign of either in fstab?

Is the CDROM an IDE device?
Does the output of dmesg show a CDROM being recognized?

dmesg | grep CD (Be sure to capitalize CD)

Looks like it does show a cdrom

hdc: CD-224-B, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM Drive

Thanks its working now after editing fstab

/dev/hdc /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0

What about your floppy drive? Does /dev/fd0 exist?
