Trust USB scanner HOW!!!!

Allthough everywhere on the web they say my Trust compact scan USB 19200 should work with sane, with me it doesn't.
"scanimage --list-devices" didn't give me anything.
The system does recognize my scanner as a Mustek Systems Inc Scan Express 1200UB (which as I have gathered so far is a good thing)
How to get sane to recognize my scanner and even work with it???

you're lucky !!!

mustek have seem to have only released one mustek driver...
and thats for the 1200ub

if you have this scanner,, and NOT the 1200ub plus (which i have)

the driver should work . (it does not work for plus)

in that tar package is a Read me, an rpm, and a src.rpm

it has instructions on how to use it as a gimp plugin...
or how to use it directly with the xscamimage command

wanna swap scanners ???
