TrueSpeech issue...please help

Hi All-

I saw a post here a while back sorda along these lines, but a little different. This is the deal......At my company we use a voicemail system that send an email to us with the attached voicemail as a wav file. On my windoze sys it plays fine. Also all other music works fine on my linux box. When I do a "file" on this wav it says:

vm.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, mono 8000 Hz

When I try to play this with mplayer, I get this:

Playing I3VM_HDPSBRJGGMTFKSGBPQHBBQSCMRNTTDJP.WAV
Cache fill: 0.22% (18266 bytes) Audio file detected.

Cannot find codec for audio format 0x22.

I think the "cannot find codex for audio format 0x22" is the important part. I have checked and I do have tssoft32.acm in the right places, when I look at the codecs.conf, I see the place where it tells the sys where to get this file type. I am stumped. A little help?!
