Troubleshooting problem

/Hey everybody. I have a problem in troubleshooting which is I was going to give password to grub, but by mistake instead of appending the /etc/grub.conf by grub-crypt-md5 >> /etc/grub.conf, i had given the grub the grub-crypt-passwd > /etc/grub.conf, so the grub.conf has overwritten.
i have just one system and so I cannot install initscript package through NFs. so plz provide me possible solution to this.

Looks like all you need to do is boot a liveCD, mount your boot partition and then rewrite your grub.conf file. Odds are your install CD doubles as a liveCD.
