Trouble with returning to main setup page in Xsane

Hi, I was trying to scan a page of text and somehow I inadvertently hit a key that caused my setup page to look like this:

How do I get back to the original setup options page? Thanks so much!

It looks like you changed something under preferences. See if there is an appearance tab under "properties".

No, nothing under Preferences that has to do with appearances or "properties."

Then you must have changed the theme for gnome. You can change it back with gnome-tweak-tool.

Not sure how I could have done that, but what is the "gnome tweak tool" and how to I apply it to this situation? Thanks.

gnome-tweak-tool is a program that allows you to tweak gnome. There's some settings for the theme.

Is gnome-tweak-tool something readily available? I should add I'm using Debian, not Ubuntu.

Yes. You can type the program name in a terminal or launch it from the gui. If it's not installed, you can install it.
