Question Trouble with compiling in fedora core 5

I'm having trouble compiling anything on my linux machine. I am trying to install tfn2k for the security lab at my school. I have installed all the developer tools and libraries and am trying to make it as according to the instructions in the README file. When i try to run xmkmf i get this

[root@localhost src]# xmkmf
imake -DUseInstalled -I/usr/share/X11/config
imake: No such file or directory
imake: No description file.
Stop.

i have also tried installing other programs from source and they won't compile either. If u have any ideas please help me.

Does this directory location (/usr/share/X11/config) exist?

Is xorg-x11-server-utils installed??

Using Linux in a vmware environment should not make a difference.

But changes in Linux since the tfn2k source code was first released may affect the building/configuration process. As a suggestion contact the author of the tfn2k code.
