Hi

I can't seem to install vlc or xine in SimplyMEPIS 3.4. Here's what I typed into the console, and what came back in both cases:

root@1[Lukasz]# apt-get install xine
E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11 Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?

root@1[Lukasz]# apt-get install vlc

What can I do?

you probably have some other program running that is using apt (aptitude, synaptic, adept, kpackage ...). Close it and try again.
