Can't get it installed. I just get this log message...

./Makefile: line 94: GMAKE: command not found
./Makefile: line 102: STLPORT: command not found
./Makefile: line 1: LIBDIR: command not found
./Makefile: line 1: SYSPRE: command not found
./Makefile: line 1: BINDIR: command not found
./Makefile: line 1: SYSPRE: command not found

./Makefile: line 124: debugbinaries: command not found
./Makefile: line 1: binaries: command not found

It keeps going on but for the sake of your reading I wont post the rest. I also can't run the ./install.sh because it outputs this...

./COPYING: No such file or directory

Using configuration file install.cfg

Checking for programs specified in install configuration file....

/usr/lib/sendmail exists. Continuing installation.

/bin/vi exists. Continuing installation.

Verifying existence of binaries...

./bin/i686-pc-linux_r/siggen missing. Build did not complete successfully.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I get this on either of the versions of Tripwire from SourceForge.

I'm running Fedora Core 1

Maybe give AIDE a shot. It is a similar idea to Tripwire and I've had much better luck getting it to work.

Have a visit to this thread in the Security forum. unSpawn has collected a ton of links on such topics. The File integrity checkers are about halfway down the screen.
