Tripwire Database Error

I just install the latest version of Tripwire via RPM for Fedora 2, Kernel 2.6.7. Everything installed correctly and setup the passphrase. When I go to create the database using the command /usr/sbin/tripwire --init, I get this error:

Generating the database...
*** Processing Unix File System ***
tripwire: dynamic-link.h:62: elf_get_dynamic_info: Assertion `! "bad dynamic tag"' failed.
Software interrupt forced exit: Abort

I've uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing seems to work. Any ideas? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
