Triple boot?
 

Is it possible to triple boot using GRUB?
Currently i have RH9, winXP, and win2K in my box. I want to boot all three of 'em directly from GRUB, so i don't have to go to the ntldr first if i want to boot windows.

FYI, i have 20gigs HD comprised of:
- WinXP; ntfs, 10 gigs /dev/hda1
- backup; fat32, 3 gigs /dev/hda5
- Win2k; ntfs, 4 gigs /dev/hda6
- swap; ext3, 128MB /dev/hda7
- RH9; ext3, 4 gigs /dev/hda8
GRUB 0.93 was installed on MBR.

Now i still can boot three of 'em but if i want to go to windows i have to pass two bootloader (GRUB n ntldr) and it's quite tedious to do so. I've searched any info on the internet, but can't find a clue on it; got several site, but they either use the ntldr as the bootloader (i prefer grub to be the bootloader) or having win98SE partition instead of winXP. help!

You have two options
1.) Get rid of all microsoft OS and boot on linux
2.) Use ntldr

The way the xp,2k NT style OSes load is using the ntldr its part of the boot process if you want to skip its like deleting an essiential file for windows NO can do.
I have my system setup to us ntldr and all i have to do is press enter and i can go into win2k or linux simple, not too hard at all

triple boot it's possible,
you need to install
win2k first then Win XP and then Linux
you can use all win OS at same partition, and you got more diskspace to use for both winsystem, use ntfs and you can use it in linux too

yes, i know i can use ntldr as the primary bootloader. But i want to use GRUB instead of it. Is there any other way i can use GRUB?

if i do that, do i have to pass two bootloader before i can get into windows if use GRUB as the bootloader? anyway, i already have large amount of data in my box, so i can't simply format it and change the partition :rolleyes:
