i know my console you just go and edit the profile and select 100% transparency...and if you want to look into something like superkaramba which is eye candy, that you can make things have transparent backgrounds...

superkaramba looks fun...but does anyone know if theres a way to turn off almost everything in kde to make it lighter and faster? i dotn like bulky wms

also which profile are you talking about and which window manager are you using, im not aware of any profile such as that for blackbox...but then again i dont actually know that much about it

well all i am referring to is that when i open up gnome-terminal i can right click the area of it and select to edit my "profile" or my settings however you wish to look at it, and then i set that option
