Transmission incorrectly reporting port as closed...

I've forwarded ports from my modem, to my router to my computer for Transmission. However, when I select the port on Transmission it says that it is closed.

I've selected port 50001 as my port. I forwarded that port number (UDP and TCP) on my modem. On my router I forwarded that port (UDP and TCP) to my computer at IP address 192.168.2.100. I've even tried it with turning off SELinux and still nothing.

Anyone had any similar issues? I'm positive the ports are forwarded correctly... I've done it a zillion times before. I currently have ports forwarded to my PS3 and I've got no problems with that.

I dont think its Transmission that is incorrect

try nmap or similar utility to check your port is open.

there are lots of port checkers online, try one of them, see what it says.

I dont think it will be transmission !
