hi, in the latest kernel Xorg gives an error saying:
"cant get event device" in reference to my touch pad, and the pad doesn't work.
i have to boot into the older kernel in order to use the mouse, which im sure is not a good thing.
i am also getting a weird message from packagekit whenever i log in: "Additional firmware required".
it appears in a box. when i click "install firmware", the packagekit icon appears in the notification area for about 1.5 seconds, and then disappears, giving an error message "failed to find package".
i cannot find out what hardware the "required" firmware is for. it seems unlikely that a device such as a touchpad would have loadable firmware. all other hardware is working.
on top of that, bzflag gives an odd message when starting:
Quote:
bzflag: ../common/dri_bufmgr_fake.c:982: dri_fake_emit_reloc: Assertion `target_fake->is_static || target_fake->size_accounted' failed.

and World of warcraft still keeps crashing randomly. is there a way i can use winedebug to investigate the problem?
