top tty after boot

I'd like have top running on tty1 as soon as my linux system boots up. How can i do this?

I'd like to specify an update time of 100 and not allow the user to be able to do anything with the keyboard if possible.

Thanks!

hi,
in /etc/inittab
where the file is spawning ttys
replace the one you want to be top
(1 thru 12)
with
replace xxx with the number of the virtual terminal you are using
the 100 after the d is the update delay
Code:
top:2345:respawn:/usr/bin/top d 100 s S c >/dev/ttyXXX </dev/ttyXXX
i don't know how to freeze out the keyboard on that terminal though.
