Post Tool similar to Hyperterminal


I am looking for a tool similar to Hyperterminal ( in MSWindows) that can be used to as interface and talk to MSA through COM1.

Any suggestions?

OS Used is RHEL5.3

minicom is the standard program for talking to serial terminals.

cu maybe
I've used cu to connect to PBX and get call logs..it works ok
