to get gcc.exe
we are working in gcc. now we have to port gcc to windows. we need gcc.exe? but wat we get after building gcc is only gcc.o.... how do we get gcc.exe?
the executable format in linux is rpm? wat shud we do to get gcc.exe from the gcc we've built in linux?

Hi.
One way to get gcc running in Windows is to install Cygwin. It will provide a Linux-like environment ... cheers, makyo

I guess you could use Bloodshed Dev-C++ (for both C and C++). It uses MinGW GCC and is probably the best IDE out there. (IMO)

RPM is a package manager. There's not really an 'executable format' in Linux (there's no particular extension by which you could tell a file can be executed, unlike .exe in Windows).
