to force open a device to retrieve pictures

I am looking for software that will give me access to my old boost mobile sanyo juno cell phone. I have lots of old pictures on it and no way of retrieving them from this piece of poor equipment. The phone has no sim card to be taken out and from what I have been able to gather through research is that there was never any drivers made for it. I don't care if the software wrecks the device as long as I can save the pictures from it first.
Thank you

Did not work the phone only gave me options to view texts and emails. I tried searching for hidden files and such to no avail I cannot get into this thing.

I realise it may be slow but maybe you'll just have to email them to yourself ...

This phone can be connected with a standard micro-USB cable to a PC, I would try that in the first place, most likely it will be seen as simple mass storage device by the OS.

The phone no longer has an active account so I cannot email them to myself, and when I plug it in via the USB the PC (Opensuse 12, and Ubuntu 12, Backtrack, and Knoppix) it is not recognized as a functional device (or something, it's alluding me). I get nothing I cannot locate the device, it is not connecting with any software. I do get a notification that it was connected and it is seen, I also get the name of the phone. I just cannot access it.
Thank you

Let's see the messages from dmesg when you attach it, and the commands you used to try and mount it.
