to create initrd on CD on fedora what is used
 

I looked the SRPMS of fedora
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu.../source/SRPMS/

which package among these is being used by Fedora Developers to create an initrd that is shipped on the installation CD or DVD's
or is this process of creating initrd for installation CD documented some where then pls give me some link.

Creating an initrd is done as part of the process of compiling a kernel, if your distro requires initrd. Look into your Fedora documentation on kernel compile and making initrd.

I have compiled a kernel with RAMDISK support and used mkinitrd for creating an initrd but that is not what I require any ways where can I get this fedora documentation.

What IS it that you require?

If you have managed to compile a kernel, create an initrd with ramdisk support, etc., then you clearly know what an initrd is and why it is used ... do you not?

If one does not respect the moderator one has no respect for the forum and will have no support from the members.

Although keratos' intention may be sincere and wishes only to know the request more specific that his/her approach has not been well received by the OP.

A moderator is the referee and redazz is absolutely right to "moderate" the wording of the members so that we all can enjoy the forum.

We "expect" the moderators to intervene when something is unacceptable has been posted. The moderator looks after the quality of the forum, rarely get praised and also always get criticised.
