time notice

does anyone know of a program (prefferably very small) that would monitor the time and give me an alarm each day all i need is like a desktop alarm clock

Is cron good enough? Or does it have to be one of those graphic programs? I would suggest to search freshmeat and sourceforge for one of those.

If it's graphic you want, then I'd suggest GKrellm with an alarm plugin.

xmms has an alarm clock plugin that works really well. try it out.
