tightvnc+X

Hello there. i am running debian on my remote PC, and i thought to use tightvnc so i could see the desktop, even from windows. SO i downloaded the rpm files from tightvnc, and installed them. now i do not know what to write in xstartup so it can use kde.

:~# vncserver
xauth: (argv):1: bad display name ".localdomain.fake:2" in "add" command
Couldn't start Xvnc; trying default font path.
Please set correct fontPath in the vncserver script.

New 'X' desktop is .localdomain.fake:2

Starting applications specified in /root/.vnc/xstartup
Log file is /root/.vnc/.localdomain.fake:2.log

:~#

and in /root/.vnc/xstartup

#!/bin/sh

# Red Hat Linux VNC session startup script
exec /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc

any ideas?

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
