have a problem running some software remotely. This software was written to use nvidia cuda, and requires an nvidia graphics card to run and display what it's suppose to.

If i sit at the computer and log in, everything works fine.

Problem is i'm logging in remotely using tightvnc. For nearly everything else tightvnc has worked except this, when i try to run the program the only thing that pops up in the shell is
"driver does not support opengl shading language"
and the program exits.

but i don't want to have to set up a completely different software for people to use. I tried goglobal for unix from graphon and that does not work, gives same error. what would cause this, and is there a [easy] way to fix it?
The operating system is novell SLES 11.3.

From what I know, OpenGL depends on the graphics card. Since the VNC server doesn't use a physical GPU, it can't run OpenGL applications.

That being said, I've heard of something called "WebGL" (I think) that would let you run OpenGL applications through VNC. I've never used it or looked into it before, so I might be wrong.
