Thunderbird - how to rearrange order of email accounts?

In Thunderbird mail client, on the left side are where all my email account folder listings are. Problem is, they are mixed up and not in a consistent order. I'd like to put the important ones at top. I cannot find any mechanism to arrange them. They are not in sorted order, so I know it's not enforcing that concept.

I want to avoid having to delete the accounts and do over because it's a big hassle adding accounts, since the account setup too often finds the incorrect servers and manual setup just disappears. After adding an account a few times it finally gets it right. But that's such a big hassle (UX fail).

Seems the answer (not tested) is to edit ~/.thunderbird/<whatever>.default/prefs.js and adjust the order of the list in user_pref("mail.accountmanager.accounts" as described in several pages listed here.

Thanks.

I still think lots of GUI app developers need to take a course on GUI UX. Thunderbird has missed the mark on UX in so many ways. Fewer than Evolution, but still many. These things should have supported either a drag and drop move around, or right-click menu options to move around.

It's an 11 year old bug with 15 duplicates, 61078.

Add-on Folderpane Tools 0.6.1 provides ordering of accounts and folders.
