Thunderbird "disables" Mozilla from opening links
Hello,
i have a problem:
I changed prefs.js of Thunderbird to start mozilla when clicking on a link, in few words i added this line inside prefs.js: user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.http", "/home/luca/bin/moz");
[moz is a script i made that runs mozilla if mozilla isn't running or opens the link in a new tab]
Now... this is the problem:
If i have Thunderbird running, if i click a link (in knewsticker, inside an email/news in thunderbird, etc) the link won't open in Mozilla.
If i shutdown Thunderbird clicking on a link works (it opens Mozilla with that link).
[I am sure that my script works since it worked correctly for months before installing Thunderbird and it still works when Thunderbird isn't running.]
Any idea why this happens and how to fix this problem?
Thank you,
Luca
P.S.: This is "moz":
if /usr/bin/mozilla -remote "ping()" 2>/dev/null;
then /usr/bin/mozilla -remote "openurl($1,new-tab)" &
else /usr/bin/soundwrapper /usr/bin/mozilla $1 &
