Thumbnail Creator
 
Does anyone know of a good command line Thumbnail creator. I have a load of 1.5MB pictures that I need to create a gallery for but I am logged into the server over SSH and cannot forward X11.

Igal should do the job fine. here there is an example of what it can do. The link to the program is on the page, sorry i'm too lazy to copy it.

How about ImageMagick? It's included with most distros.

Try 'man ImageMagick'
