There is no chroot folder in red hat enterprise bind

Dear friends,

I set up bind successfully on my fedora core. Some of the configurations involve setting up of the zone files from /var/named -> /var/named/chroot/var/named. Also the named.conf is a linke from /etc/named.conf -> /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf.

When I tried to do the bind configuration on a red hat enterprise machine, I realised there is not chroot folder in /var/named. So, how do I set up the links for the named.conf and all the zone files in a red hat enterprise server?
basiclly just the different in the chroot folder does not exist in red hat enterprise so where should I link the named.conf and the zone files?

thanks for taking time reading my mail, thanks a lot!

Regards
Fong

There is some information about this at www.isc.org
first click the "BIND 9.3.1" link,
then click the "An article on making a bind9 chroot jail on NetBSD".

I managed to follow these instructions and get it working on RHES 4 even though it specifically targets NetBSD, its similar.
