Exclamation Tftp not working properly!!

Hi,
I installed tftp on my redhat 6.0 box. I ran tftp on my box but it does not download the files. I tested it by connecting it to the localhost but it still did not get the file. It says "Transmission timed out"!!
Any idea

regards,
RKris
