Arrow Terminal that auto-scales fonts upon window resize.

Hi y'all!

Does anyone else know of a terminal emulator that scales the fonts automatically when a window is resized?

My eyesight is horrible but I want to use more terminal applications. I also use AwesomeWM for tiling, so windows resize frequently.

Also on the short list are cut/paste by keyboard and good support for launching links.

Thanks!

What X term do you use now? Most have a key-combo that will quickly increase or decrease the font size on the fly.

For Terminal in OS X on my Mac it's Command-+ or Command--. For Gnome's Terminal, in Linux, it's Ctrl-+ and Ctrl--.

Yes, I have Terminator (similar to Gnome-terminal) and those keys do work. I was just being lazy and thought it would be a cool feature if the font rescaled based on window size.

You could set the terminal to 80x25 characters and have the font increase if you maximized, decrease as the window resizes... great for a tiling window manager.

I would find that rather annoying. If I give more space to a tile it is because I want to see more output, not larger output.
But of course YMMV.

Exactly. Linux is all about freedom, as in choice. Of course free beer is nice, too.
