Terminal Emulator needed

I need a terminal emulator program to connect to a unix server on my network. The server runs our financial/point of sale software. It called profitool if that makes a difference. Can anyone suggest something. Must be free.

Thankshttp://norlug.org/~chipster/rpm_index.pxml?cat=4

For linux or windows? If you mean the latter then search for a program called Putty.

If it's a linux workstation couldn't you do

telnet ipaddress

or ssh ipaddress

Just use a normal terminal console on the workstation and type one of those commands

bam, terminal emulator opens up and asks for a login

I hope this helps
